Mega Man Battle Network 5 picks up one month after the end of the previous game. After defeating the Dark Chip Syndicate, Lan and Mega Man are looking forward to returning to some semblance of normalcy. Unfortunately for them, a new evil has risen to fill the gap left by the Syndicate. This new organization, called "Nebula," has been systematically taking over areas of the global Internet. This new threat is too great for Lan and Mega Man to handle alone, so the two must team up with a variety of allies to retake the network and save the world one more time. In Mega Man Battle Network 5, players go a mission to defeat the cyber enemies that wait. Acquire and use up to six Navi allies to help progress through the adventure. Each Battle Network version will have a set of specialized cohorts that can be obtained including characters from previous installments of the series. Working as a team will be crucial if you want to liberate the Nebula-controlled areas.
